Robert B. Joslin, 95, of Gladwin, died April 16, 2005 at Mid Michigan Medical Center, Gladwin after a short illness. He was born Nov. 5, 1909 to Seth and Ina (Crispell) Joslin of Clark Lake.
He married Esther “Pat” in Parma on June 28, 1941. He was a meat cutter at Kroger in Jackson before retiring 30 years ago. He had lived in Gladwin County for six years, having previously resided in Parma. He belonged to the Jackson Masonic Lodge #17, Scottish Rite, was an avid fisherman and hunter, not missing an opening day for 75 years, and was extremely active and hardworking through his 95 years, and a very loyal man.
Surviving are his wife, Esther “Pat” Joslin of Gladwin; two daughters, Ruth Ann Joslin of Gladwin, and Cheryl Pence of Gladwin; three grandchildren, Nathanial, Elliott and Gregory; and his caregiver, Gertrude Watts. He was predeceased by his parents, and by his sister, Ethel.
Cremation has taken place. Arrangements were made by Hall Funeral Home of Gladwin.
