Donald Hutson
Donald Floyd Hutson, 77, died Dec. 9, 2006 at his daughter’s home in Burton.
He was a native of and was schooled and graduated from Gladwin. He joined the United States Air Force and served in Korea, returning to Flint to work at Fisher Body. He retired as the head of the purchasing department in 1986 and was active in scholarship programs for area high school seniors.
Surviving are his wife, Jane of Hadley; one daughter, Becky Ferrell of Burton; one grandson, Charles Ferrell of Burton; two sisters, Phyllis (Lewis) Almassy of Burton, and Marilyn Ellis of Gladwin; two brothers, Tom (Carol) Hutson of Flushing, and David Hutson; and one sister-in-law, Marilyn Hutson of Gladwin. He was preceded in death by his mother, Pauline; his father, Floyd; and one brother, Wilbur.
Interment services were held at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery.
