Clair E. Huntley
Clair E. Huntley, 66, of 315 Campbell St., of Beaverton, died Sunday, July
9, at Saginaw General Hospital, following an illnes of four weeks. Born in Gladwin County,
March 19, 1906, Mr. Huntley and the former Helen Freiburger were married in Alpena April 30,
1930. He was a retired Buick Motor Company employee, moving back to Beaverton 15 years ago
from Flint. Mr. Huntley was also a veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife Helen; Two sons, James of Flint and Earl of Clio; three daughters,
Mrs. Esther Achtadowski, both of Saginaw, and Mrs. Stella Szymanski of Metz; one brother John
of Beaverton; and a sister, Mrs. Lorenna Packard of Bay City; 41 grandchildren and nine great
grandchildren.
Services are being held today (Wednesday) at 2:00 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton,
and burial will be in Dale Cemetery.
