Leola Hude
Leola B. Hude, 76, of Gladwin, died suddenly May 19, 2006 at Mid Michigan Medical Center - Gladwin. She was born Nov. 30, 1929 in Marion, Michigan to Ray and Beryl (Dunning) McIntosh.
She married Edwin Hude Sept. 4, 1948 in Oberlin; he passed away in 1982. She was a homemaker and lived most of her life in Gladwin County. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Gladwin.
Surviving are her children, Robert (Jerie) Hude of West Branch, Verna Hude, Ruth (Kelly) Warren, and Alma Hude (friend Dwayne Arquette), all of Gladwin, and Marilyn (Robert) Most of Cedar Springs; 17 grandchildren and eight Great-grandchildren; four brothers, Vernon McIntosh of Midland, James McIntosh of Flint, Leonard McIntosh of Gladwin and Thomas McIntosh of Coleman; and five sisters, Ella Doyle of Saginaw, Carole Gower, Vonnie Leeck of Beaverton, Marsha McIntosh of Coleman, and Sue Robbins of Auburn. She was predeceased by her husband; her parents; a daughter, Rosemary; her sisters, Nova Jean, Elsie and Debra; and her brothers, Herbert, Lyle and Jerry.
A funeral service was held May 22 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Gladwin with pastor William Winter officiating. Burial followed in Skeels Cemetery in Gladwin.
