Ralph C. Hospodor
Ralph C. Hospodor, 47, of 210 Maple St., Gladwin, died suddenly Monday,
March 14, following a heart attack at his home. Born on April 1, 1929, in Gladwin, he had
spent his lifetime here and was a 1947 graduate of Gladwin High School. Mr. Hospodor was
co-manager of Hospodor's Laundry and Dry Cleaners for the past 15 years. He served in the
Korean War and was wounded in action. Mr. Hospodar attended Ferris College for two years and
was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans; Gladwin Fraternal Order of Eagles No.
3292; Gladwin Lodge 397 F. & A.M.; White Clover Chapter No. 84, Order Eastern Star; and the
Gladwin Skyview Flying Club. He and the former Betty VanHorn were married on November 17,
1956, in Gladwin.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Debbie and 3 sons, James, Robert and
Kevin, all at home; his mother, Mrs. Helen Hospodor of Gladwin; and 2 brothers, Steve of
Gladwin and Ronald of Beaumont, Texas. Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the
Mathews Funeral Home. The Rev. Donald Bates will officiate and burial will be in the Highland
Cemetery.
