Luella Hoskinson
Luella R. Hoskinson, 85, of Gladwin passed away Monday, June 6 at the Gladwin Pines Nursing Home.
She was born June 28, 1919 in Gladwin to Hazen and Bernice (Laidley) Greer. Luella married Blair Hoskinson on March 18, 1939 in Gladwin. Blair died Jan. 8, 2001. She lived in Gladwin County all her life and was a member of the Wagarville Community United Methodist Church and the Wagarville Women’s Society. She loved to sew, crochet and bake.
Surviving her are one daughter, Marsha (Bill) Simpson of Harrison; two grandchildren; four Great grandchildren; one son-in-law, Steve Leuenberger of Beaverton; six sisters, Marion (Eldon) Nash of Gladwin, Ruth (Tom) Catlatt of Pennsylvania, Betty Stone of Lansing, Irene Hetherington of Gladwin, Lois Presidio of Gladwin, and Beverly Fisher of Beaverton; three brothers, Jerry Greer and John (Phyllis) Greer, both of Gladwin, and Vern (Thelma) Greer of West Branch; and one sister-in-law, Irene Greer of Gladwin. She is predeceased by a daughter, Sharon Leuenberger, and three brothers, Ike, Don and Ken.
Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Sisson Funeral Home in Gladwin with Rev. Donald Roberts officiating. Burial will take place in Ridge Cemetery.
