Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
Cecilia Hooper

   Cecilia Ann “CeCe” Hooper, 57, of Beaverton passed away Dec. 16, 2006 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland after a short illness.

   She was born June 7, 1949 to Donald J. and Amilda (Burke) Diamond in Coldwater.

   CeCe opened Leading Edge Real Estate in May 2001 in Beaverton with her husband, Larry. She was previously employed with Grumman Aerospace in the Star Wars Program in California. She had lived in Gladwin County since 1999, having previously resided in Kalamazoo.

   CeCe married Larry “Hoop” Hooper on Jan. 26, 2000 in Beaverton.

   She is survived by her husband, Larry “The Hoop” Hooper of Beaverton; three sons, Steven Bauer and friend Sunny Galik of Denton, Texas, Michael (Victoria) Bauer of Battle Creek, and Ryan (Stephanie) Hooper of Toulon, Illinois; grandchildren, Mason, Mitchell, Marcus, Trey and Keegan; her mother, Amilda “Billie” Diamond of Beaverton; one brother, David (Betsy) Diamond of Lake Forest, California; special family, Jim and Betty Blair of Quincy, Michigan and their children, James, Jack, Stephen, Terry and William. She was predeceased by her father in 1997.

   Cremation has taken place. A local memorial service will be held in Beaverton at the Lion’s Club Community Center at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006. A memorial service will be held on Dec. 30, 2006 at 2 p.m. at the I.O.O.F. Hall, 19 1/2 W. Chicago in Quincy, Michigan.

   In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Gladwin Area. Arrangements were made by Hall- Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin.
