Thomas Holtsberry
SERVICES HELD FOR EX-RESIDENT
Services were held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. from the Miner Chapel for T. J. Holtsberry, 52,
of Saginaw and formerly of Gladwin, who died Thursday evening in the Saginaw General Hospital.
Born on May 1, 1913, in St. Louis, he came to Gladwin County as a child with his parents. Later
he went to work in Saginaw at the foundry as a coremaker. Mr. Holtsberry was a veteran of World
War II. He married the former Mrs. Frances Leininger in Gladwin on Sept. 13, 1947
Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Sandra and Linda, at home; one step-daughter,
Mrs. Lois Wren, of Saginaw; one step-son, Robert Leininger, of San Antonio, Texas; three sisters, Mrs.
Telitha Roberts, Mrs. Margaret Strong, and Mrs. Oretha Lovesey, all of Gladwin; and three grandchildren.
The Rev. Martin Seitz officiated and burial was in Highland Cemetery.
