Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Rebecca J. (Sinift) Holtsberry

   Mrs. C. Holtsberry died May 10, 1921, at the home of her son, John Holtsberry in Grout township, aged 68 years, 8 months and 26 days. Rebecca J. Sinift was born in Merser county, Ohio, aug. 16, 1852, and was married to C. Holtsberry Oct. 11, 1868. When she was 30 years old they moved to Michigan here they have since resided. She was a member of the Methodist church at St. Louis, Mich.
   She is survived by her husband, five children: John Holtsberry and Mrs. Wesley Brown of Gladwin, Mrs. Rosie Hurl of St. Louis, Forest Holtsberry of Mt. Pleasant and Mrs. Lila Thomas of Memphis, Tenn., 13 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Bard Evangelical church Saturday morning at 10 o'clock May 14, 1921. Rev. E. T. Smith, officiating.
