RHODES MAN DIES MONDAY

   Jesse Howard Hollenbeck, 78, of Rhodes, died Monday at General Hospital, Bay City, following a heart attack. Mr. Hollenbeck was born on Dec. 5, 1882, in Sanilac County, and had lived in Mt. Forest Township, Bay County, since 1934.

   Survivors include his widow, Carrie; two sons, Jesse, of Flint, and Wesley, of Bay City; a step-son, Harold Patty, of Flint; four daughters, Mrs. Leona Wiseman, and Mrs. Grace Madden, of Rome, Ga., Mrs. Marie Kobel, of Midland, and Mrs. Anna Parker, of Kalamazoo; a brother, Hugh, of Traverse City; five sisters, Mrs. Sarah Furness, of Avco, Mrs. Luella Woodworth, of Ven Lathropp, Mrs. Norah Wales, of St. Louis, Mrs. Velma Orr, of Ohio, and Mrs. Elizabeth Stone, of Alma; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

   Funeral services will be held Thursday at the Lee Funeral Home in Pinconning at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Gail Buckles, of the Broadway Baptist Church, Bay City officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery, Gladwin Township.
