RITES TOMORROW FOR MRS. HOLLENBACK
Mrs. Clara Hollenback, 79, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Shell of Butman, Tuesday morning, August 21, after an illness of three days. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 23 at 2 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home. Burial is to be at the Ridge cemetery. Born June 6, 1866 in Monroe county, Clara Wendhausen married William S. Hooker, December 25, 1886, in Monroe county, and was later married to William Hollenback. She has resided for the past 48 years in Gladwin county.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Pearl Shell, of Butnam, and Myrtle McDonald, of Jackson; and a son, Alva D. Hooker of Butman. Four other children preceded her in death. There are 24 surviving grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
