Jasper B. Holec
Jasper B. Holec, 68, of 1067 W. Bergen, Flint, died Monday, Dec. 26. Born
in Gladwin on July 7, 1909, he had spent his lifetime in Flint. He was a veteran of World War
II and had retired after 40 years from Fisher Body Plant in 1971. Mr. Holec was married to Grace
and she preceded him in death in 1969.
Surviving are 4 brothers, Joseph, John and Michael, all of Flint, and Francis of Swartz Creek;
3 sisters, Mrs. Mary Guhling of Gladwin, Mrs. Elizabeth Bedford and Mrs. Ann Stetsen of Flint. A
sister, Mrs. Veronica Pulaski also preceded him in death in 1971.
Services were held Thursday at 10 a.m. from the Welch Funeral Home in Clio with the Rev. Father
Steven Makranyi officiating. Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. at the Highland Cemetery in
Gladwin.
