Walter Holdorf Jr.
Walter A Holdorf, Jr., 83, of Gladwin, died March 8, 2005 at Gladwin Pines Nursing Home following a long illness. He was born March 6, 1922 in Kewaunee, Wisconsin to Walter A. and Lillian (Hulub) Holdorf. He was a Tool Grinder with General Motors Buick Division in Flint until retiring in 1975 after 32 years. He had lived in Gladwin County since 1975, having previously resided in Burton.
He is survived by four sons, Marv (Kathy) Holdorf of Grand Blanc, Dan Holdorf of Burton, Mel (Janette) Holdorf of Flushing, and Don Holdorf of Burton; one daughter, Dee (Don) Hart of Beaverton; special friend, Betty Knight of Beaverton; several grandchildren and Great-grandchildren; and one sister, Ruby (James) Stanley of Florida. He is predeceased by his parents; one sister, Olive Orr; and his stepfather, Andrew Miller.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Arrangement by Hall Funeral Homes of Gladwin and Beaverton.
