Robert Hoag
Robert H. Hoag, 54, of 210 Spring St., Gladwin, died suddenly Monday, Oct.
20 at his home of a heart attack. Born in Hazel Park on December 23, 1925, he had spent most
of his life in Gladwin County. Mr. Hoag was county road foreman for the Gladwin County Road
Commission. He served in the Navy during World War II. He and the former Mary Reinhardt were
married June 29, 1946, in Gladwin.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Larry of Gladwin; 4 daughters, Mrs. Terry (Judy)
Grant of Utica, Mrs. Eugene (Patricia) Rhynard of North Bradley, Mrs. Barbara Aman of Gladwin and
Mrs. Steve (Peggy) Walsh of Holly; 3 sisters, Mrs. Elsie Councell and Mrs. Grace Wylie of Gladwin
and Mrs. Mary Reinhardt of Burton; 3 brothers, Thomas of Gladwin and Howard and Lloyd of Midland;
and 7 grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin Chapel. The Rev.
William Stevens will officiate and burial will be in the Highland Cemetery.
