Geraldine Hinspeter
Geraldine M. Hinspeter, 85, of Beaverton, died Feb. 5, 2005 at home after a long illness. She was born Dec. 12, 1919 to Perry and Elizabeth (Stowell) Gerred in Flint, Michigan. She married Gordon Hinspeter on Nov. 24, 1952 in Angola, Indiana; he died in 2002.
Mrs. Hinspeter was employed as a factory worker at A.C. Sparkplug in Flint. She retired in 1974 after 32 years. She lived for the last 26 years in Gladwin County, having previously lived in Flint.
Surviving are her sister, Mary Jean (Bernard) Thompson of Suttons Bay; her brother, Elmer (Eileen) Gerred of Fenton; several nieces and nephews; and special friend and caregiver Sandra King of Beaverton. She was predeceased by her husband; brothers Harold and James; and her parents.

Funeral services were Monday, Feb. 7 at Hall Funeral Home in Beaverton, with Bernard Thompson officiating. Burial was at Flint Memorial Park in Mt. Morris.
