Loren Ray Henry
Loren Ray Henry, 62, of 300 West Fourth St., Gladwin, died Friday, Aug. 11,
in Saginaw Veterans Hospital after a long illness. Born in Beaverton on October 11, 1915, he
spent his lifetime here. Mr. Henry was a self-employed carpenter and a veteran of World War
II. He was married to the former Elaine Knappen on April 10, 1944, in Beaverton.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Robert Cadwell of Gladwin; 2 brothers,
Edwin of Quanicassee and Lawrence of Mt. Morris; one sister, Mrs. Wilma Smith of Beaverton; and
2 grandchildren. Services were held Tuesday at 11 a.m. from the Gladwin Free Methodist Church.
The Rev. Robert Shoaff officiated and burial was in the Highland Cemetery. Arrangements were in
charge of the Hall Funeral Ho.
