Marjorie Heinz
Marjorie J. Heinz, 83, of Gladwin passed away March 11, 2008 at MidMichigan Medical Center–Gladwin following a short illness.
She was born in Sault Ste. Marie on June 7, 1924 to Fred and Evelyn (Dobson) Paquette. She was employed as executive secretary for Kincheloe Air Force Base in Sault Ste. Marie in the late 1940s early 1950s. She has lived in Gladwin since 1965, previously residing in Freeland.
Marjorie was a founding member of JFK Foundation for the Handicapped in Sault Ste. Marie. She was a very caring and wonderful person who was loved by everyone who knew her.
Marjorie married Harvey Heinz, Jr. in August 1952 in Sault Ste. Marie. He preceded her in death in 1999. She is survived by her son, David Heinz of Gladwin; and sisters, Shirley Atkinson of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Gayle Bertzyk of Rio Rancho, New Mexico.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Jack Heinz; and brother, Melvin Paquette.
According to the wishes of the family cremation has taken place. Arrangements were made by Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin.
