Donald Hawley
Donald Hawley, 81, of Harrison died Dec. 3, 2006 at MidMichigan Medical Center- Clare after a short illness.
He was born July 3, 1925 to Earl and Iola (Lyons) Hawley in West Bloomfield Township.
Donald was a truck driver for Chippewa Beverage Company in Mt. Pleasant and owner and operator of Wash Products in Gladwin during the 50s and 60s.
He served in World War II in the U.S. Army. He lived in Clare County since 1967; he previously resided in Gladwin. He was a member of the American Legion Post in Harrison.
Donald is survived by two sons, Kevin (Teri) Hawley of Toledo, Ohio, and Alan Hawley of Gladwin; two daughters, Vadonna (Wayne) Lewis of Shepherd, and Donald Evart and Kelly Hawley of Harrison; nine grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren; and two sisters, Dorothy Renas of Gladwin and Yvonne Kehoe of Gladwin. He was precdeceased by parents; and one sister, Virginia Schultz.
Funeral services were Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2006 at Hall- Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin. Pastor Doug Blackwell officiated.
