Joseph C. Harvey
Joseph C. Harvey, 78, of Beaverton, died suddenly Saturday, April 6,
1996 at home. Born Nov. 18, 1917 in Eaton County, he resided in Gladwin County since 1946
when he moved from Vermontville. Mr. Harvey served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He
was employed by Robinson Industries until retiring in 1975 after 25 years. He also farmed.
Surviving are one brother, Roy Harvey of Beaverton; and 2 sisters, Margie Joppie of
Vermontville, and Helen Potter of Gladwin. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Gale and
Frank Harvey and a sister, Sarah Channell.
Rites were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 9 from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton chapel.
The Rev. David Stewart officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery, Tobacco Township.
