Douglas Hartley
DOUGLAS HARTLEY
Douglas D. Hartley, 39, of 3876 Ward Rd., Billings Township, died Monday, July 12, in the Gladwin Area Hospital following an illness of six years. Born in Flint on September 16, 1942, he came to Gladwin County in 1968 from Flint. He served in the Navy and was a member of the American Legion in Kissimee, Fla., and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Sanford. Mr. Hartley and the former Joan Fountain were married July 6, 1978, in Florida.
Besides his wife, he is survived by 3 sons, Alan and Greg of Port Huron and of Kissimee, Fla.; 2 daughters, Marcie of Port Huron and Tina of Kissimee, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. Kay Durr of College Station, Texas; and one brother, Michael of Tacoma, Wash.
Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Dana Lane will officiate and burial will be in the Billings Cemetery.
