Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
John Harrold

   Services were held Wednesday at the Gladwin Free Methodist Church for John Henry Harrold, who died Monday, July 1, at 8 P.M. at his home here.

   John Harrold was born August 28, 1859, in Henry county, Ohio. January 1, 1890, he was married to Margaret E. Zink and to them were born five children, one died in infancy. Mr. and Mrs. Harrold lived in Napoleon, Ohio, until the spring of 1905 when they moved to Gladwin county, on a farm in Grout township. In 1910 they moved to Gladwin. Mrs. Harrold preceded him in death in 1931. Mr. Harrold was in the shoe repair business until his health began to fail a few years ago.

   Surviving him are two sons, William and Don of Toledo, Ohio, two daughters, Mrs. Warren Kays and Mrs. Fred Hefka of Gladwin, one brother, M. E. Harrold of Gladwin, one sister, Mrs. Lucinda Gensel of Toledo, Ohio, ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.

   Rev. H. R. Fiddler conducted the services at 2 P.M. Burial was in Highland Cemetery.
