Ida Harrold
Mrs. Ida L. Harrold, 76, died on Friday, March 14, at her residence on Elm Street in Gladwin.
br> Ida L. Zink was born in Sterling, Nebraska on March 1, 1871, the daughter of John and Ellen Reed Zink. She was married to Mr. Harrold on September 27, 1888, in Henry county, Ohio, from where they came to live in Gladwin about 43 years ago. Mrs. Harrold was a member of the Gladwin Methodist church and of its Women's Society of Christian Service.
br> Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Arthur Codling and Mrs. Melvin Haines, both of Gladwin; three sons, Ray and Arthur Harrold, of Gladwin and Rollie Harrold of Oconomowac, Wisconsin; 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
br> The body was taken to the Gladwin Methodist church at 1 o'clock on Monday afternoon, to lie in state until the hour of the service. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock with the Rev. John Scott officiated. Burial was in the McClure cemetery.
