Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Robert Harris

   Robert A. Harris, 66, of Gladwin, died April 1, 2005 at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. Mr. Harris was born in Detroit on June 2, 1938. He married the former Mary Lou McIntyre in Farmington on Feb. 12, 1977. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

   He worked maintenance at Takata, Inc. in Auburn Hills, retiring in 1998. He lived in Gladwin County since 2000, having previously resided in Farmington. He was a member of the Secord Lake Eagles 4121, Redford Elks Lodge 2097, American Legion-Lansing, and Harrison Moose Lodge.

   Surviving are his wife, Mary Lou Harris of Gladwin; two daughters, Beverly (Bob) Craggs of Farmington Hills, and Darcy Harris of Westland; one step daughter, Connie (Ron) Gray of Royal Oak; one step son, Mark Williams of Jackson; three grandchildren, Culton and Cameron Craggs of Farmington Hills, and Joshua Williams of Jackson; one brother, Clifford (Peggy) Harris of West Bloomfield; and one sister, Evelyn (Neil) Stevenson of Sterling Heights. He was predeceased by his parents.

   A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on April 5 at Hall Funeral Home in Gladwin. Burial took place at Colfax Cemetery in Bad Axe. Memorial contributions may be made to Beaumont Hospice.
