Frances Haroldson
Frances R. Haroldson, 99, of Gladwin, passed away Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007 at Gladwin Nursing & Rehabilitation Community.
She was born March 13, 1908 in Shawano, Wisconsin to John and Sarah (Pendleton) Prickett.
Frances married Frank Haroldson on May 31, 1940 in Debuke, Iowa. They came to Gladwin in 1942 from Saginaw. She was a life member of the Gladwin Order of Eastern Star #84 White Clover Chapter. Frances served as Past Matron, Past Grand Guardian of Jobes Daughters of Michigan and was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Wiedbrauk of Sussex, New Jersey; one son, Steven Haroldson of Florida; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three nephews; and one niece. Frances was preceded in death by one brother, John; and one sister, Haskell.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 14, 2007 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church with Rev. Mary Jo Schuetz officiating. She will be laid to rest in Highland Cemetery.
Friends may call at Sisson Funeral Home on Thursday from 3-8 p.m. and at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
