Etta Harder
Etta Marie Harder, 92, of Gladwin died July 2, 2007 at Gladwin Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre in Gladwin after a long illness She was born May 30, 1915 to Joseph and Alma (Abbott) Richards in Bay City.
Etta was a homemaker and a lifetime resident of Gladwin County. On July 10, 1935 she married Charles Harder in Beaverton. He predeceased her in 1997.
Surviving are five daughters, Ruth (Keith) Williams of Gladwin, Charlene Harder of Gladwin, Mary (Clifford) LaBell of Pontiac, Sandra (Steven) Moody of Beaverton, and Janet (Robert) Grzegorczyk of Rhodes; 18 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; one brother, Albert Richards of Standish; and special friends, Matilda Fowler of Gladwin and Ruth Searfoss of Gladwin. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles; two sons, Gene and Robert; and many brothers and sisters.
Memorial contributions may be made to Gladwin Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre and Helping Hands of Hospice.
According to the wishes of the family, cremation has taken place.
