Beatrice Hanes
BEATRICE HANES
Beatrice E. Hanes, 91, of 2721 Whitney Beach Rd.,
Beaverton, died Monday, Feb. 18, in the Gladwin
Nursing Home following a long illness. Born in
Cheboygan Feb. 4, 1894, she came to Gladwin County 27
years ago from Troy. The former Beatrice Calloway, she
was married to Earl Hanes July 6, 1922, in New York.
He preceded her in death Aug. 14, 1976.
Surviving are 2 sons, Thomas of Troy and Robert of
Ubanna, Ill.; and 6 grandchildren. Services were held
Friday at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin
Chapel. The Rev. Dave Inman officiated and burial was
in the Rhodes Cemetery..
