Charles Hamilton
KILLED BY A LIMB
Charles Hamilton, while assisting in sawing down a
tree at Daniel Bowes camp, Saturday, was killed by a
limb falling from above and striking him. He was
brought to this place and interred in Highland
cemetery Sunday. Nothing was known of his family or antecedents. He
was a man about 50 years of age, and claimed to have
been a major in the confederate army.
Should anyone have any information concerning
Hamilton they are requested to notify Mr. Bowes.
