Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Ulra Hall

   Ulra L. Hall, 84, of Beaverton passed away Sunday, Nov. 19, 2006 at Tendercare Nursing Home in Clare.

   She was born Nov. 1, 1921 in Hope/Midland County to Cash and Mildred (Wood) Carey.

   Ulra married Donald Hall on Dec. 28, 1951 in Beaverton. Don was the former co-owner of Hall Funeral Home.

   She was a member of the Beaverton First Presbyterian Church and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #7303. She loved to sew and was an accomplished seamstress.

   She is survived by her husband, Don; one daughter, Sonia St. James of Austin, Texas; three sons, Carey St. James of Marquette, Lee W. Shaffer of Beaverton, Robert J. Hall of Midland County; eight grandchildren; and several greatgrandchildren.

   She was predeceased by four sisters, Muriel Mac Rae, Pauline White, Barbara Miller and Kathleen Hitchcock.

   Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 25 at the First Presbyterian Church in Beaverton. Rev. Karen Blatt will officiate and interment will be in Dale Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 10 a.m. until time of the service. Memorials may be made to the church memorial fund. Sisson Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
