Beaverton Historical Society Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice

Harry E. Hall, 93, of Gladwin passed away Friday, Feb. 10 at Gladwin Pines Nursing Home.
He was born June 23, 1912 in Port Huron to Henry and Mary (LePien) Hall. He grew up in Nester Township. In his younger years he was a deputy sheriff for Roscommon County and a constable for Nester Township.
He married the former MonEdith Shears on Nov. 19, 1938 in Butman Township. He retired from Robinson Industries in 1975 and was a life member of the Gladwin Masonic Lodge #397 F & AM. He loved deer hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his wife, MonEdith, and several nieces and nephews. One sister, Bertha Mansfield, and one half brother, Austin Hall, predecease him.
Funeral services were held Feb. 14 at Sisson Funeral Home with Rev. Brad Withrow officiating. Burial was in Butman Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
