Havel Gruber

SERVICES FRIDAY for MRS. GRUBER

   Mrs. Hazel Gruber, 65, passed away at her home in Tucson, Ariz., Sunday, Feb 14, following a six months illness. The daughter of the late Rev. and Mrs. John L. McKimmy, she was born July 28, 1894, at Blissfield. Mrs. Gruber came to Beaverton with her parents in 1902 and spent most her life here. She was married to John Gruber January 10, 1923. Mr. Gruber passed away in October, 1928. Mrs. Gruber was a member of the Church of the Brethren. In 1941 Mrs. Gruber and son Lincoln went to Tucson where she has been living since.

   Survivors include one son, Lincoln; J. Ray McKimmy and Clayton McKimmy; and one sister, Ruth Yager, all of Beaverton. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at the Beaverton Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Carl Hilbert officiating, and burial will be made in the Dale Cemetery.
