Mary Grove
Mary E. Grove, 72, of 4630 W. Calhoun Rd., Beaverton, died Friday, Oct. 4, in St. Mary's Hospital, Saginaw, after a short illness. Born in Gladwin County Feb. 15, 1913, she had spent her life here. She was a member of the Beaverton United Methodist Church and the Bard Ladies Aid. The former Mary Allen, she was married to Wilbur Grove June 8, 1932.
Besides her husband, she is survived by 6 sons, Junior, Darwin, Keith, Larry and Terry of Beaverton and Rick of Texas; 4 daughters, Mrs. Ervin (Bonnie) Willis and Mrs. Jack (Ivalou) Bauer of Gladwi, Mrs. Dana (Debra) Cassidy of Grayling and Kathy of Beaverton; 39 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. A daughter, 2 sisters and 5 brothers preceded her in death. Services were held Monday at 1 p.m. from the Sisson-Mathews Funeral Home. The Rev. Bruce Hatch officiated and burial was in Ridge Cemetery.
