LEslie Greer
Leslie Greer died Oct. 13, 1918, at Camp Custer, from influenza followed by
pneumonia. He went there in July contingent. The body was brought to Gladwin Oct. 17, and taken
to the home of his parents in Gladwin township. Services were held in the yard at home Friday
morning at 10 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Headley, followed by interment in Ridge cemetery. Floral
offerings were beautiful, and a large number of friends followed the body to its last resting place
in Ridge cemetery. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Greer, three sisters, Mrs.
Carl Garbers, Maude and Freda, and one brother, Elmer.
