Rex Greenman
GROUT MAN DIES AT HIS HOME
Rex William Greenman, 58, a veteran of World War I, passed away suddenly at his farm
home in Grout township, on Saturday, July 23. Funeral services were held Tuesday from the
Reigle Funeral Home, with burial in Highland cemetery. The Rev. S. Wurtz, of the Evangelical
United Brethren church, officiated. Mr. Greenman was born at Fife Lake, October 29, 1890, and
was married to Miss Grace Wells on September 17, 1919, in Flint. They have been residents of
Gladwin county for the past 15 years.
Surviving are his wife, Grace; one son, Calvin Greenman, at home; one daughter, Mrs. Helen
Porter, of Saginaw; also one step-daughter, Mrs. Bonnie Nelson, of Flint; two brothers, Vernice
Greenman and Eldo Greenman, both of Flint; and three grandchildren.
