Lee H. Greenacre

RITES FOR LEE GREENACRE HELD


  Services were held Monday for Lee H. Greenacre, 52, of 4852 W. Lang Road, Beaverton, who died at his home, Friday, Sept. 25. Born in Decatur, Mich., October 7, 1917, he attended schools in Decatur and Ionia. He and the former Miss Gertrude Rhynard were married October 2, 1936, in Ionia, and lived there until moving to Beaverton in 1942. Mr. Greenacre was employed at Dow Chemical Company in Midland until his enlistment in the armed forces the same year. He was discharged from service in the spring of 1946 and returned to his employment at Dow as a repair machinist.

  Survivors are his wife, Gertrude; three daughters, Mrs. Leola Hutchins of Hope, Mrs. Annabelle Williams of Cedar Springs, Mrs. Carlene Hutchins of Letha, Idaho; three sons, Everett James of Gladwin, DeVilo Gerold of Beaverton, and Lee H. Jr., of Clare; his mother, Mrs. Etta Utter Greenacre of Ionia; and 13 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Frances Frashee and Mrs. Margaret Voorhees, both of Ionia; and one brother, Elmer of Alanson.

  Services were at 11:00 a.m. Monday, Sept. 28, with the Rev. Fr. Edward Trombley officiating and burial was in the Beaverton Cemetery.
