Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
Berniece Green

   Berniece M. Green, 67, of Beaverton passed away Saturday, April 28, 2007 at the Gratiot Community Medical Center in Alma.

   She was born April 8, 1940 in Gladwin County to Clare and Margarette (Burr) Yager Berniece married Gerald Green on Aug. 29, 1958 in Beaverton.

   She was a member of the Beaverton Church of the Brethren. She has lived in Gladwin and Clare Counties most all her life. Berniece loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, fishing, walks and crocheting.

   Surviving are her husband, Gerald; three daughters, Elizabeth (Jon) Lamont of Clare, Terresa (Jeff) Slocum of Clare and Sarah Graham of Midland; four grandchildren, Rebecca and Kevin Curtis, Tiffany Slocum, Brandon Slocum and Amy Graham; two great-grandchildren; her mother-in-law, Lone Green of Clare; three brothers, Olan (Arlene) Yager of Florida, Marlin (Judy) Yager of Cheboygan and Jim Yager of Florida; and two sisters, Ardis (Jack) Larkin of Beaverton and Joanne (Leroy) Brown of Beaverton. One daughter, Cora Isenhart, and one brother, Robert Yager, predecease Berniece.

   Services are at 11 a.m Wednesday, May 2 at the Beaverton Church of the Brethren. Rev. John Glasscock will officiate and burial will be in Tobacco Township Cemetery.

   Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of service Memorials may be made to the church.

   Arrangements were handled by Sisson Funeral Home in Gladwin.
