Leonard A. Graves
ILLNESS FATAL TO LEONARD GRAVES
Services will be held for Leonard A. Graves, of Sage Township, Thursday at 3:00 p.m. at
the Hall Funeral Home. The Rev. Charles Allen and Rev. F. E. Voller will officiate and burial
will be in Highland Cemetery. Mr. Graves, a life-long resident of Gladwin County, was a World
War II veteran. Born April 20, 1920, in Billings Township, he was 46 years old. He died Monday,
Jan. 23, following and extended illness. Mr. Graves and the former Miss Dora M. Coney were
married April 9, 1941, in Beaverton. He was a member of the Church of the Nazerene.
Survivors include his wife, Dora; two sons, Gary and Bruce; and three daughters, Mrs. Pauline
Blades, Iva Lou adn Peggy; one grandchild; four sisters, Mrs. Hazel Winn, Mrs. Zetta Fradenburg,
and Mrs. Bessie Fenton, all of the Beaverton area, and Mrs. Florence Gilman of Bay City; two brothers,
Francis Roy of Beaverton and Norman of Gladwin.
