Kenneth L. Grant
KENNETH L. GRANT
Kenneth L. Grant, 54, of Midland, died suddenly Saturday, Jan. 31. Born in Mt. Forest Township, Bay County, on October 5, 1921, he graduated from Midland High School in 1938. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Asian Pacific Theatre in World War II. Mr. Grant was employed at Dow Chemical Co. for 35 years and was a senior plant mechanic in the Central Research Lab. He was a member of St. Brigid's Church, the V.F.W. and was a former union steward.
Mr. Grant and the former Anna Bowers were married on October 2, 1948, in Midland. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, William of Rodney; two daughters, Elizabeth Ann and Alisha Marie at home; his mother, Mrs. Lillian Crawford of All-Bright Shores; and one sister, Buelah Mae Grant of Beaverton. Rites were held today, Wednesday, at 10 a.m. from St. Brigid's Catholic Church. The Rev. Father Michael Hillary officiated and burial was in the Billings Township Cemetery..
