Forest Grant
FOREST GRANT
Forest (Babe) Grant, 53, of Albright Shores, died Saturday, July 14, in the Saginaw Veterans Hospital following a brief illness. Born March 21, 1920, at Mt. Forest, Mich., he served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II. Mr. Grant was employed at Dow Chemical in Midland. He had been a resident of Gladwin County for 25 years. He was a member of the Midland VFW.
Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Merle (Lillian) Crawford of Beaverton; a brother, Kenneth of Midland; and a sister, Beaulah Mae Grant of Lake; 1 step-son, Samuel Bailey of Midland. Services were held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, Edenville, and burial was in Billings Township Cemetery. The Rev. Fr. Kawka officiated. Arrangements were in charge of Hall's Funeral Home..
