Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice

Owen Grandy
Owen B. Grandy, 78, of 4439 Two Mile Road, died suddenly at his home in
Butman Township Thursday, Nov. 25. Born in Beaver Falls, Pa., Nov. 3, 1893, Mr. Grandy had
lived most of his life in Gladwin County. He was a farmer. He and the former Helen Adams Frank
were married January 8, 1950, in Gladwin. A veteran of World War I, he was a member of Veterans
of Foreign Wars Post 3731, Gladwin.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; and one step-son, Wilbur Frank of Pontiac. Services were
held Monday at 2:00 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home with the Rev. Helena Egts officiating. Burial
was in Highland Cemetery.
