DIES OF INJURIES IN ACCIDENT


  Howard J. Gower, 68, of Pinconning, died Monday at Hurley Hospital, Flint, of injuries suffered in an auton accident at Clio on June 14. His wife, Martha, who was with him in the accident is still a patient in the hospital. Born in Gladwin on May 25, 1895, he lived his lifetime in Gladwin County until he moved to Pinconning in November, 1962. He was retired from farming and was a veteran of World War I. He was married to the former Martha Gilbert on Nov. 8, 1962.

  Besides his life, he is survived by a sister, Mrs. Edna Pashby, of Clio; and three brothers, George, of Midland, Fred, of Frankenmuth, and Floyd, of Gladwin. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home with the Rev. Ross Tracy officiating. Burial will be in Bentley Cemetery..
