Donald Gorman
Donald E. Gorman, 53, of 1769 Hilts Rd., Gladwin, died Tuesday, Nov. 3, in
the Midland Hospital Center after a long illness. Born in Detroit, March 12, 1934, he came to
Gladwin County in 1969 from Detroit. Mr. Gorman was a janitor at the Gladwin High School and
served in the Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Gladwin County VFW Post. Mr.
Gorman and the former Margaret Aubin were married Jan. 14, 1959, in Detroit.
Besides his wife, he is survived by 4 sons, Edwin and Eric of Dearborn, John of Mt. Pleasant
and Ronald of Beaverton; 4 daughters, Mrs. Ernest (Shelly) Leiterman of West Bloomfield, Elsie
of Gladwin, Donna of Mt. Pleasant and Mrs. Marshall (Margaret) Berry of Beaverton; his mother,
Mrs. Elsie Sova of Detroit; one brother, Robert of Lincoln Park; one sister, Mrs. Irene Mullins
of Allen Park; and 10 grandchildren.
Services are incomplete and in charge of the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin Chapel. Visitation
will be after 6 p.m. Thursday.
