Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
LeRoy Goodwin

   LeRoy Goodwin, 59, owner of Goodwin Septic Tank Service, Gladwin, died Friday, Sept. 1, in the Midland Hospital after a six-month illness. Born in Wiota, Iowa, on August 21, 1913, he came to Gladwin County in 1917. He was a member of the boilermakers union. Mr. Goodwin and the former Ellen Pyke were married Sept. 9, 1931 in Flint.

   Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, George and Arthur of Gladwin; three daughters, Mrs. Clara Haring of Clare, Mrs. Ruth Brubaker of Midland and Mrs. Barbara Church of Gladwin; one brother, Marion Ginrich of Flint; and 10 grandchildren. Services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin. Arthur Munger officiated and burial was in the Highland Cemetery.
