Gordon Goodman
Gordon D. Goodman, 68, of Gladwin, died Aug. 1, 2005 at MidMichigan Medical Center in Midland.
He was born Sept. 5, 1936 to Clarence and Frances (Cannon) Goodman in Saginaw. On Oct. 8, 1959 he married Patricia Loar in Black Hill, South Dakota. He worked as a truck driver at Warner Petroleum in Clare and retired in 1991. He lived in Gladwin for the past 45 years and was a former resident of Saginaw. He was a member of the Gladwin Eagles Aerie 3292.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Goodman of Gladwin; four children, Sherrie (Gary) Darosett of Missouri, Kim (Mark) Beck of Gladwin, Joe (Tammy) Goodman of Gladwin, and Ann Goodman of Gladwin; eight grandchildren; a sister, Betty Cramer of Gladwin; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; Great granddaughter, Angel Rae Darosett; and brothers, Max and Marvin Goodman.
Funeral services will be held Aug. 4 at 1 p.m. at Hall Funeral Home in Gladwin with the Rev. Fr. Jeff Donner officiating. Burial will be at Hamiton Township Cemetery in Clare County. Visitation will be Wednesday, Aug. 3 from 2-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be used according to the family.
