Clarence Glidden
CLARENCE GLIDDEN DIED SUDDENLY
Clarence H. Glidden, 74, died suddenly Monday at his hom in Beavertn. He was born in Billings Township on February 28, 1885 and in 1910 was married to the former Miss Queen Oliver, who survives him. They farmed in Tobacco Township until 1948. Mr. Glidden was well-known throughout the county as a purebred horse breeder.
Survivors besides his wife, are: a daughter, Mrs. Vera McKimmy, of Midland; two brothers, Charles, of Holly and Harvey, of Detroit; two grandchildren, Mrs. Carol Yost, of Beaverton, and Donald Wagar, of Midland; and four great grandchildren. A brother Waldo preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Church of the Brethren, Beaverton. The Rev. Carl Hilbert will officiate and burial will be in Dale Cemetery.
