Daniel Girlish Sr.
Daniel Girlish, Sr., 57 of Gladwin, formerly of Warren, passed away Saturday, Dec. 9 at his home. Dan was born Jan. 3, 1949 in Warren to John and Mabel (Siebel) Girlish, Sr. He married Linda Bartley on April 1, 1967 in Warren. Dan worked as a Wood Model Maker for GM Tech Center. They moved to Gladwin County in 2002. He was a member of the Secord Lake Eagles and loved to play pool, golf and fish, and was an avid NASCAR fan. Surviving are his wife, Linda; two daughters, Tracy (Daniel) Domanski of Lincoln, and Tonjia Taylor and fiance Tony Pastue of Warren; one son, Daniel (Cindy) Girlish, Jr.; grandchildren Troy Girlish, D.J. Sexton, Chris Hay, Michael Domanski, Sarah and Nick Stefanech, Amanda Mourelo, Sara Farley, and Ashley Taylor; great grandchildren Brandon Mourelo, Mackenzie Stefanech and Alexander Stefanech. He is predeceased by one grandson, John Kraus, Jr., and one brother, John Girlish. Service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Elliott Funeral Home in Warren, with burial in White Chapel Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Secord Lake Eagles.
