Francis Gingery
Maggie Philena Mountz was born February 20, 1804, and departed this life May 24, 1932. She was 64 years, 3 months and 4 days old.
She was united in marriage in 1883 to Francis Marion Gingery.
With her husband and three children she came to Michigan from Iowa in 1915 where she lived on their farm in Grout township, Gladwin county, until about four weeks ago when, she moved in with her son and family near Clare. She has been a long and patient suffer with cancer.
She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, two sons, Earl of Flint and Bruce of Clare; one daughter, Eva, of Newberry; one sister, Mrs. R. T. Armstrong; 10 grandchildren; four great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Two sisters and two brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held from the West Grout M. E. church Friday afternoon, May 27, by Rev. L. M. Whitney, and the body was laid to rest in Highland cemetery.
