MARIEN GEDNEY
Marien Gedney, 98, of Gladwin, died Monday, Nov. 1, 1999 at the Gladwin Pines Nursing Home, Gladwin. Born Aug. 8, 1901 in Gladwin, she was the daughter of
Phoenix and Grace (Gill) Milligan. Marien was united in marriage to Howard Gedney, July 17,1921 in Gladwin. She was a resident of Gladwin for the past 98 years.
Surviving are two sons, Harry (Josh) and wife Doris of Gladwin, and William and wife Dede of Beaverton; four daughters, Jeanette and husband Verl White, and Blanche and husband Robert Lee, all of Gladwin, June and husband Earl Reiner of Yuma, Ariz., and Norma Klein of Midland; one sister, Helen Wager of Gladwin; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, James; and one daughter, Connie Gedney.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday) at the Sisson Funeral Home, Gladwin with Pastor JimWalters officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Gladwin.
