DORIS GEDNEY


  Doris B. Gedney, 77, of Gladwin, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 1999 at the Bay Medical Center in Bay City after a short illness. Born July 5, 1922, in Edenville, she was a lifetime resident of Gladwin County. Doris married Harry Gedney, Nov. 21, 1970 in Gladwin. She was a homemaker.

  Besides her husband she is survived by three daughters, Sharon and husband Douglas Keblbeck of Beaverton, Peggy Bodnar of Saginaw, and Paula and husband Michael Draves of Edenville; one son, Gregory T. Wall of Phoenix, Ariz.; one stepdaughter, Mary Lou and husband Rick Shaw of Burton; stepfather, Kenneth Richardson of Acworth, Ga.; two sisters, June Rose Mackey of Redding, Calif. And Alice Renshaw of Midland; two half-sisters, Wilma Rose of Gladwin and Diane Champagne of Acworth, Ga.; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters.

  Services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow (Thursday) at the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin, with Rev. Dr. Harold Slater officiating. Burial will be in Old Edenville Cemetery in Edenville. Friends may call at the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin Chapel, today (Wednesday) noon until 9 p.m. .
