Lyle Gary
Lyle B. Gary, 62, of Gladwin died July 3, 2006 at Mid Michigan Medical Center in Midland following a short illness. He was born Oct. 31, 1943 in Gladwin to Kenneth and Jean (Nestell) Gary.
He married the former Shari Pickard in Gladwin on May 18, 1963. He was a lifetime resident of Gladwin County, He worked for 31 years at General Motors - Saginaw Steering Gear and retired in 1995. He was a member of Gladwin Masonic Lodge and First United Methodist Church in Gladwin.
Surviving are his wife, Shari Gary of Gladwin; two sons, Troy Gary and Todd Gary, both of Gladwin; one daughter, Deborah (Lindsey) Semple of Gillette, Wyoming; two grandsons, Alec and Ethan; one sister, Carol (Bill) Clarke of Gladwin; his mother, Jean Gary of Gladwin; his motherin- law and father-in-law, George and Evelyn Pickard of Gladwin; several nieces and nephews; and his dog, Dee-Dee. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Denise (Feb. 14, 1967) and his father, Ken (2005).
A funeral service was held Friday, July 7 at Hall Funeral Home in Gladwin with pastor Sam Wilson and pastor Lynn Chappell officiating. Burial followed at Ridge Cemetery in Gladwin. Memorial contributions may be made to Gladwin Area Hockey Association and Gladwin Little League.
