Eva Garver
Eva L. Garver, 98, of Gladwin passed away Saturday, Jan. 8, 2005 at the Gladwin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born May 13, 1906 in Paulding County, Ohio to Marshall and Carrie McQuestion Grove. Eva married Eugene Garver on Dec. 23, 1926 in Gladwin. He passed away Feb. 19, 2002. She came to Gladwin as a child and was a member of the Farm Bureau.
Surviving are her son, Verne (Ione) Garver of Gladwin; three granddaughters, Judith (Jerry) Shockelford of Chandler, Arizona, Deborah (Dennis) Carbeno of Gladwin, and Janette (Eugene) Taylor of La Rue, Texas; four Great grandchildren and five Great great grandchildren; and one sister, Myrtle (Clarence) Cremeans of Gladwin. A grandson, three sisters and five brothers predecease her.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 13 at the Sisson Funeral Home. Rev. Donald Roberts will officiate. Entombment will be in the Highland Mausoleum.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Gladwin.
